catching up from the summer!

first of all, i can't believe this was my LAST summer (as a student)!!! it's becoming more and more "real" now that i am going to graduating this coming May. i'm very anxious, but pretty nervous at the same time. it's strange to think that i have no idea what i will be doing after graduation. the thought of job-searching and finding a place to live is pretty overwhelming to be honest. but for now, i'm just going to live it up for these last few months and enjoy every bit of being in college!

for the most part, i had a pretty good summer! the first half i was at home working at a bank in League City. i LOVED being at home and hanging out with my family when i wasn't working. it was awesome! my mom got a new golden retriever puppy, Roscoe, and we are all totally obsessed with him....he is so freakin cute it's unreal!! for 4th of July my dad's side of the family got together for a family weekend at the lake! we went to Lake LBJ outside of Austin...it was SO fun! after the fun weekend was over, it was time for me to head to LBK for summer school :( such a bummer! i wish i could have stayed home for the rest of the summer too, but oh well! anyway i'm finishing up the summer session this week and i can't wait! it's been a pretty rough session, but it's almost over , thank goodness!

recruitment is right around the corner! honestly, part of me is excited, but the other part of me is ready for it to be over with already! haha not to be a negative nancy, but rush is soooo annoying sometimes...and i know i'm one of many who feel the same way!

after rush is over, school starts and then FOOTBALL SEASON! this season is going to be AWESOME! we are supposed to be a really, really strong team this year so hopefully we do VERY well!!

oh and one last thing, then i'll post some pictures...Warren, my little brother, is going to be a freshman at Tech starting this fall and i could not be more excited! i've been wanting him to come here ever since i was a freshman! YAY! we are going to have SO MUCH FUN!!

ROSCOE!!

i completely forgot to mention that in June a went to the bi-annual KKG convention in Phoenix! this is me, one of my best friends Erin, our chapter adviser Kathleen, and one of our Lubbock alumns, Susan!
