i've gone a few days without blogging, so i thought i would entertain you all with a small post so you know i am still alive 'n blogging!
this weekend is A&M WEEKEND! FINALLY! i have quite a bit to accomplish before friday rolls around and i head south for college station! i have test thursday and some other homework here and there. the past few days have been very rainy here in lubbock and a cold front actually blew through yesterday. i had to bust out the winter clothes from underneath my bed and bundle up for class this morning! i'm actually excited for winter believe-it-or-not. i really like to be all bundled up in big warm jackets and scarves. and i love to stay snuggled in my bed all warm and toasty in the mornings before i have to drag myself out and get ready for class.
on a random note, i saw 4 movies in the last 2 weeks. i think this might be a personal best of mine. i'm not typically a movie person, but for some reason i have recently been in the mood to go to the movie theater! anyway, the first movie i saw was Nights in Roadanthe. this movie was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. such a romantic, yet heart-breaking movie. i bawled like a baby! but, somehow loved every second of it and am ready to see it again! the next movie i saw was Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. i really liked this movie too. it was very Juno-like...pretty random and weird sometimes, but i could see it again. now, the 3rd movie was actually one that i saw, not because i wanted to, but beacause the kids i babysit had a half-day last friday, so i needed to entertain them by going to see a movie. and lucky me, they chose Beverly Hills Chuihaha. let's just say it was at the bottom of my list out of the 4 movies i saw. so, the 4th and final movie a went to see was The Women. honestly, i was not impressed. i expected much more out of the movie, and it was actually just pretty boring. anyway, just thought i would give y'all my two-cents on my recent movie outings!
welp, i'm off to study for my eco test. then, get up early and study again!
hopefully the sun comes out tomorrow so it's not so miserable looking outside!
