happy presidents' day

such a funny holiday. we still have school...go figure.
does anyone actually celebrate presidents' day anyway?

this past saturday was valentine's day <3

eric and i had an awesome day. nothing spectacular but here is how it went down:

• drove thru subway for lunch and brought it back to my house
• went to barnes and noble for a while and just browsed together
• went to his house - he took a nap and i read 'breaking dawn'
• had reservations @ stella's (new york style restaurant...pretty fancy for LBK)
• i had the pork chop and eric had scallops...apparently eric's meal was one of his top 5 meals of his life.
• instead of dessert @ stella's we went to market street and got cute little vday cookies :)

a very simple day, but it could not have been better.


so at barnes and noble there were so many books that i wanted to read so badly.
i had to tell myself "no," and walk away.
i have entirely too many books that i have yet to read.
i wish i had more time to sit and spend hours upon hours reading.
by the time i get in bed i start reading and crash after just one chapter.
ugh, so frustrating.
maybe one day...

i need to get back to piecing together a powerpoint for a group presentation i have tomorrow.
