summer tease

today was a delightfully warm, summer-like day! the past couple of days in lubbock have been so hot and sunny. i love it, love it, love it!

i got out of class at 11, came home for lunch, and decided it would a perfect day to lay out and be totally unproductive.

so, i got on my swim suit (realized i don't quite have my teeny-tiny-bikini-bod...yet...hopefully its on its way) and doused my body with tanning oil. yummmm

i set up my tanning chair in my backyard and just laid there for the next 2 hours. i always want to read while i lay out but i hate wearing sunglasses because sunglass tan lines are the absolute worst!

i needed to drown out the annoying sound of road construction going on 2 blocks from me anyway, so i just popped in my headphones and jammed out.

of course i got maybe a little more sun than i would have liked but overall, i'm pumped i'm not pasty pale anymore...

but with my luck, we will have freezing temperatures in a few days. here's to hoping my sunburn (soon-to-be-tan??) lasts until the next summer-tease!
